Cheryl Colledge; a person who has dedicated her life to the care of others, founded Amber Valley Total Care Ltd in August 2000.
Cheryl has worked most of her life in the care industry either nursing or caring, and realised that most people relying on personal care were not receiving the level of care which was to be expected.
Amber Valley Total Care was founded to give the elderly and people with disabilities and illnesses, the opportunity to remain in their own home, with the emphasis on keeping their independence and dignity.
Amber Valley Total Care strives to meet the standards and requirements of the every day and night to ensure that when our carers leave the service users home they feel comfortable happy and secure in their own home.
It is all about improving the quality of life for those unable to do the things that they once took for granted.
When employing our staff at Amber Valley Total Care we expect the same views from the carers to the receptionist to the highest level of management, because we all need to be working towards the same goal to ensure our values and reputation of quality are maintained.
All staff are thoroughly checked against police registers for suitability to work in this nature of work, as all positions require a great level of trust.
Amber Valley Total Care also apply the levels of quality when looking after our employees, by implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to protect the welfare of our staff ensure they are trained and confident in their work roll.
We are also accredited to contract with: Derbyshire County Council Social Services, and CHC continuing health care team.
We have staff trained experience working with end of life care, including providing general support to close family members.
